Enos A. Mills
Founder of Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado with the help of his Friend - President of the United States Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt. As you may know; Enos championed the founding of the park using his own time and financial resources. Enos Mills Loved the high mountains and offered his services as a "Guide" to all who were interested; often at no cost to the client as his contribution to society.
Enos encouraged the "Guides" to be Teachers... to use the high mountains as natural classrooms, where the pattern of beauty in the high mountains would be absorbed by the Student as well as the subject matter being taught.
I often carry a long ice axe with a wooden shaft made of oak that was used by Enos Mills on my outings in Rocky Mountain National Park. The ice axe is a "Bridge" between Enos and myself. A "Bridge" that spans the 84 years between 1915 and today.
These outings are only a Vision I have right now; a Way of using the technology of the Internet similar to meeting a stranger at the trailhead and saying "Would you like to go climbing with me today? I could use a partner on this climb..." I wanted you to know about one of the goals I was moving toward; it may take me a while to make a few new Friends to make this Vision reality. Imagination and Vision lead us along the Way.... Reality always follows.... help us achieve this Vision if you think it would be a Good contribution to our society.... this course is not available at this time....
Thanks for Listening.... Climb "Forever"...
